इस पोस्ट में मैं आपको बताने जा रहा हूं Categories in WordPress के बारे में । WordPress में Category कैसे बनाते हैं, इसके बारे में भी मैं आपको बताऊंगा सरल भाषा में, तो बने रहे ज्ञानी पापा के साथ।
Categories in WordPress ( WordPress में श्रेणियाँ )
Categories in WordPress;- WordPress में Categories क्या होता है? वर्डप्रेस में कैटेगरी का मतलब यह है कि, एक वर्ग या लोगों या चीजों या विषय को विभाजन कर किसी एक ग्रुप में रखना और उसी अलग-अलग Group को Category कहते हैं।

जैसे कि;- अगर हम Health, Blogging, Technology के बारे में कुछ पोस्ट लिखना चाहते हैं तो हम Health का अलग कैटेगरी बनाएंगे, ताकि उसमें सिर्फ हेल्थ के बारे में लोगों को जानकारी मिल सके और कोई भी दूसरा Topic Mix ना हो ।
अगर हम Blogging के बारे में पोस्ट लिखना चाहते हैं तो हम Blogging का अलग Category बनाएंगे। अगर हम Technology के बारे में लोगों को बताना चाहते हैं तो हम Technology का एक अलग कैटेगरी बनाएंगे ।
Category अलग-अलग पोस्ट को अलग-अलग group में विभाजन करता है । Category बनाने का फायदा यह होता है कि कोई भी विषय दूसरे विषय से Mix नहीं होता है । सभी विषय अलग अलग रख सकते हैं, अलग-अलग नाम से कैटेगरी बनाकर ।
WordPress Create Category ( वर्डप्रेस में कैटेगरी कैसे बनाएं )
WordPress में Category कैसे बनाएं;- वर्डप्रेस में कैटेगरी बनाना लोग बहुत कठिन समझते हैं, लेकिन कैटेगरी बनाना इतना कठिन नहीं है जितना लोग समझते हैं। कैटेगरी बनाना बहुत आसान है तो चलिए हम बताते हैं WordPress में Category बनाना कैसे हैं ।
हमें एक चीज का पता होना चाहिए कि Page में कैटेगरी नहीं बनाए जाते हैं । सिर्फ पोस्ट के कैटेगरी बनाए जाते हैं।
अगर हम बिना Category बनाए कुछ भी पोस्ट लिखते हैं तो वह पोस्ट Uncategorised में जाएगा । वर्डप्रेस एक पहले से ही Uncatogorised Section बना कर देता है।
हम उस Uncatogorised को अपने अनुसार Rename भी कर सकते हैं । हमें खुद Decide करना है कि हम जो पोस्ट लिख रहे हैं, उस पोस्ट को किस कैटेगरी में रखना है । हम post के हिसाब से कैटेगरी बनाएंगे।
हम दो तरीके से कैटेगरी को बना सकते हैं । पहला तरीका Category के Section में जाकर और दूसरा तरीका Post के Section में जाकर ।
(1) Categories in WordPress बनाने का पहला तरीका;-
कैटेगरी ऐड करने के लिए पहला तरीका यह है- सबसे पहले हमें अपने वर्डप्रेस को Login करना है उसके बाद हम अपने WordPress के Dashboard में दाखिल हो जाएंगे । उसके बाद WordPress के Dashboard में हमें एक काले रंग की left side में Side Bar नजर आएगी ।
उस Side Bar में हमें एक Post का Option नजर आएगा । उस post पर हमें अपने माउस के Pointer को रखना है । उसके बाद हमें एक Categories का Option नजर आएगा । उसको Click करना है । ऊपर दर्शाए गए Picture में आप देख सकते हैं ।
उसके बाद एक नया Page Open हो जाएगा नए पेज ओपन होने के बाद हमें 4 option नजर आएंगे।
(1) Name;- Name में हमें Category का नाम लिखना है, जैसे कि;- हम अपनी पोस्ट Health के बारे में बना रहे हैं तो हम एक Health का कैटेगरी बनाएंगे ।
(2) Slug;- Slug में हमें वही नाम लिखना है जो हमने Name में लिखा है जैसे कि;- Health
(3) Parent Category;- Parent Category को Main Category or Nested Category भी कहते हैं । Parent Category के अंदर जो Category होते हैं उसे हम उसे Child Category or Sub-Category कहते हैं ।
अगर हमें किसी Category को किसी Category के अंदर में डालना है तो हमें Parent Category के option में None की जगह उसको select करना है जिसके अंदर आप अलग से एक Category डालना चाहते हैं । ऊपर दर्शाए गए Picture में आप देख सकते हैं ।
(4) Description;- Description में हमें User को यह बताना है कि यह कैटेगरी किसके बारे में है जैसे कि यह कैटेगरी हेल्थ के बारे में है तो हमें Description में लिखना होगा कि यह Category हेल्थ के बारे में और हेल्थ के सभी Content के बारे में है । अपने अनुसार कुछ भी लिख सकते हैं ।
(5) Add New Category;- उसके बाद हमें Add New Category पर Click कर देना है । अब हमारी एक Category बनकर तैयार हो चुकी है । यही Process अपनाकर हम काफी सारे Category बना सकते हैं । अगर हम Description में कुछ भी नहीं लिखेंगे तो भी कोई दिक्कत वाली बात नहीं है । लेकिन यह Users को बताने के लिए होता है कि यह Category किसके बारे में है ।
(2) Categories in WordPress Add करने का दूसरा तरीका;-
हमें अपने WordPress को Login करना है । उसके बाद हमें अपनी wordpress Dashboard नजर आएगी । अगर आप अपनी वर्डप्रेस में पहले से login है, आपकी wordpress dashboard नजर आ रही है तो दोबारा login करने की जरूरत नहीं है ।
उसके बाद WordPress Dashboard के side bar में पोस्ट का option नजर आएगा । उस पोस्ट पर अपने mouse का Pointer रखना है । उसके बाद हमें Add New का ऑप्शन नजर आएगा। उस Add New के ऑप्शन पर हमें Click करना है ।
उसके बाद एक नया पेज Open होगा । वह पेज पोस्ट लिखने के लिए होगा । उस पेज के Right Side में एक Category का ऑप्शन नजर आएगा, उसके नीचे Add New Category का ऑप्शन नजर आएगा, उसे Click करके अपने Category को बना सकते हैं । ऊपर दर्शाए गए पिक्चर में देख सकते हैं ।
Edit Category Page WordPress ( कैटेगरी को एडिट कैसे करें )
मैं आपको बताना चाहता हूं कि Page में हम Category use नहीं करते हैं । हम सिर्फ पोस्ट में Category use करते हैं । अगर हमें किसी कैटेगरी को Change करना है या Rename करना है तो हमें सबसे पहले अपने वर्डप्रेस के डैशबोर्ड में जाना होगा ।
उसके बाद WordPress Dashboard के Side Bar में पोस्ट का ऑप्शन आएगा । उस पर हमें अपने माउस का Pointer रखना है, उसके बाद हमें Category का option नजर आएगा । कैटेगरी को click करना है । उसके बाद एक New पेज open हो जाएगा ।
WordPress Category List ( वर्डप्रेस कैटेगरी की सूची );- उसके बाद, हमने अपनी वेबसाइट में अब तक जो भी Category बनाई है, वह पूरी Category की List दिखाई देगी। ऊपर दर्शाए गए picture में आप देख सकते हैं ।
उसके बाद हमें जिस Category के नाम को Change करने हैं, उसके Edit में जाकर या Quick Edit में जाकर नाम को आराम से बदल सकते हैं । ऊपर दर्शाए गए Picture में आप देख सकते हैं ।
WordPress Get Categories
हम जो भी Category बनाए रहते हैं, वह हमारे पोस्ट के URL में भी आ जाता है । हम अपनी Post की URL में Category का नाम हटा भी सकते हैं। अगर हमें अपने पोस्ट को Rank करानी है तो, पोस्ट की URL से Category का नाम हटाना पड़ता है। हम अपने Category में एक इमेज भी डाल सकते हैं ।
Google में Categories in WordPress के बारे में जानने के लिए लोग तरह-तरह के keyword सर्च करते हैं जैसे कि;- WordPress Get Categories, WordPress Category List, WordPress Create Category, Edit Category Page WordPress, wordpress get post category.
